The walk
7.3 km out-and-back walk between Merana and Serole, up to Bivio ALA575-ATS510, 403 m of total ascent: about 2 h 45 min of walking. Waymarked hiking trail, between 294 and 613 m above sea level. After the walk: wine tasting at Roccasanta (7.8 km) and lunch at ’L Bunet in Bergolo (7.1 km).
Waymarked hiking trail (grade E): paths and dirt roads, good walking shoes are enough.

From Alba: about 40 min (28 km as the crow flies). Most trailheads have roadside parking or a small car park in the nearest village.
By train and bus
